What to expect

  1. Arrive and register

Give reception your name, phone number and the reason for your visit. Walk-ins are welcome; calling ahead cuts the wait.

  2. Your story

Dr. Mailan K asks about your symptoms: when they began, how they have changed, and what you have tried. Family members are welcome to add what they have noticed.

  3. Examination

Strength, sensation, reflexes, coordination, eyes, speech and walking. For memory or mood concerns, a few structured questions may be added.

  4. Explanation and plan

What the findings suggest, whether any tests are needed and why, how any medicine works. With time for your questions.

  5. Medicines and follow-up

Collect prescribed medicines from the in-house pharmacy before you leave, and agree when to come back.

You are welcome to bring a family member or carer into the consultation, or to come alone.
